Matthew grew up watching his Dad create drawings by hand from a very young age. So naturally, he pursued the opportunity to take drafting classes in high school. Whether it was in his blood or he was destined to be a CAD/BIM technician, it just fit like an old glove. From that first day of opening AutoCAD, he has never stopped. He has been a structural CAD/BIM Technician for 17 years. In that time he has worked on numerous projects of varying size, structural systems, and building types.
Being a CAD/BIM technician has allowed Matthew to create the life he wanted for his beautiful wife and 2 kids while letting him do his part to leave a mark on the world. Matthew’s years of knowledge of structure and CAD/BIM have helped him create impressive drawings and 3D models of unique projects all over the country. He continues to mentor younger CAD/BIM technicians while managing the BIM on current and future projects. In the future he will never cease to pull from his years of knowledge of BIM while continuing to learn and grow, to accomplish any unique challenges that may arise on a project.
